September 2007 - The newest members of the HHSAA Hall of Fame were announced this month. They are:
Walter Allman - beloved custodian at HHS for over 30 years
Steve Carlisle, Class of 65 - distinguished acting career in movies, television and theatre
Art Cooley, Class of 52 - award winning career broadcaster; President & GM of WHKP 1450
Richard Morris, Class of 36 - career sports writer; official scorer for the Asheville Tourists baseball team over 30 years
Ronnie Pepper, Class of 74 - devoted educator to early childhood education; award winning storyteller
Beverly Russell - HHS english teacher and Red and White sponsor for many years; published writer and poet
An induction ceremony will be held on Friday, October 5 (during homecoming weekend) in the HHS auditoriumm starting at 5PM.
All alumni, faculty and friends are invited. Congratulations to all of the inductees!
